About Bengals
Bengal cats are considered to be hybrids. They are the result of crossing an Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic cat. This way you can have the wild grace and beauty of a Leopard Cat, but only in pet form. There are different generations of Bengals. The three generations closest to the Asian Leopard Cat are known as Foundation Bengals (F1's F2's and F3's.) They can make wonderful pets in the right homes. However, they are not for everyone. Generally they will form a very strong bond with only one person or family. They usually do not tolerate change, whether it's a big one such as moving, or something as small as rearranging your furniture.

Bengal Cats are at least four generations removed from the Asian Leopard. They are called "SBT's"  Even though they have the appearance of a wild cat, they are very loving, devoted and outgoing family companions. They are very active, even as adults, and crave human attention. They get along wonderfully with children, other pets and will grow accustomed to your lifestyle. They require the same basic care as an ordinary domestic cat. Although, don't be surprised if they join you for a bath or shower!
